Check out the newest release from First Base Tapes
From First Base Tapes on the release of their Rejected by Record Store Day comp:
Audiophile 1: Yo bros, I was at Urban Outfitters and they were all sold out of the Phish/Umphreys split 7″ limited edition of 50 on IPA orange wax..
Audiophile 2: Dude that SUCKS. I went to Whole Foods Record Store and they wouldn’t let me vape in there >:(
Audiophile 3: Gents, I am OUTRAGED. I was just at Absolute Vinyl and they didn’t have ANY Record Story Day 2017™ exclusive releases. All they was this dumb “Rejected by Record Store Day” local compilation cassette put out by that “hipster poison” label First Base Tapes
Audiophile 1: Cassette tape? haha, don’t they know that vinyls are vastly superior? What is on the blasted thing?
Audiophile 3: It’s so weird. There’s some song called “Van Gogh 2” by Moth Life that sounds like it’s recorded on an iPhone. This electronic song “Air Bnb Party” by My Friend Bryan is really weird and scary. There’s some song called “Imsorry” where Burnt Dog Man wants to fuck me up. This track “girls” by Xenon Superstar is pretty nice though.
Audiophile 2: *eye roll* those First Base Tapes kids probably don’t even listen to FLAC, haha
Audiophile 3: Actually this kid who smelled like cigs told me you can download it in FLAC on firstbasetapes.bandcamp.com on April 22nd
Audiophile 2: Oh. That’s still stupid tho”
